Food Safety – BRCGS 

Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards guarantee the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria, ensuring manufacturers fulfil their legal obligations and provide protection for consumers. It is the most stringent food safety certification in the global food packaging sector, and certification shows a proven commitment to food safety and quality systems. Detpak has BRCGS certification at each of its manufacturing sites.   

Quality Certification – ISO 9001:2015

ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, promotes worldwide proprietary, industrial and commercial standards. Detmold Group's certification focuses on ISO 9001:2015. This demonstrates that we have quality management systems that comply with ISO 9001:2015 for the following scope: design, manufacture, supply, storage, sale and dispatch of various paper food packaging products. We hold certification in our locations in Australia, China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Quality Certification – ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001:2015 sets the benchmark for environmental management systems, supporting organisations in meeting regulatory requirements and improving sustainability performance. Certification demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying environmental risks and opportunities, and a commitment to continuous improvement aligned with environmental objectives. Detmold Packaging holds ISO 14001:2015 certification in Australia.

Chain of Custody – FSC™ and PEFC Certified

Detmold can supply Forest Stewardship Council (FSC™) or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certified packaging products as part of our commitment to providing products that meet the highest sustainability standards.

Social Accountability – SMETA 

Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) is a procedure providing an international standard for social accountability. This certification process is made up of four modules including health and safety, labour standards, environmental performance and business ethics. This accreditation has so far been achieved by the Detmold Group plants in Adelaide, China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
