Executive Chairman, Rodney Detmold has announced today that Alf Ianniello, CEO has resigned after 14 successful years in the business. Rodney states that “the Board and I would like to thank Alf for the leadership he has shown and the value he has created during his 14 years with the business, the last 9 of which have been as CEO of the Detmold Group. It has been a period of strong growth and expansion and Alf leaves the business and the Brands in a strong position going forward”.
The Board has appointed Conrad Groenewald as the new Chief Executive Officer. Rodney Detmold stated that “We are pleased to have secured Conrad as our CEO to lead the business in what promises to be an exciting future. Conrad is a successful CEO with global experience in significant organisations, including James Hardie, HealthShare NSW and Visy Industries.”
Conrad and Alf will commence a handover process on 20th May through until Conrad formally takes over as CEO on the 5th July 2021. Alf will remain in an advisory capacity for the Board and Conrad during the transition period.
